What happened to Baby Gebar?!

Gebar Byrd, Jr. and his mother, Yasmin Rodriguez, disappeared on March 22, 2010 from University City, MO. It was just three weeks before his 2nd birthday. Yasmin had a fight with Gebar's father and her financee, Gebar Byrd, Sr. Some reports say that Byrd left the house and others say that Yasmin left the house with Gebar. Either way, no one saw them after the argument. Yasmin's family reported Yasmin and Gebar missing on March 28th, six days after they were last seen.
Now, fast forward to April 9, 2010. A female body is found floating in the Mississippi River. Days later that body is identified as Yasmin Rodriguez. She was 24 at the time of her death. It is hasn't been determined what caused her death. What does this mean for Gebar? Where is he? Is he alive? What happened between the argument that Yasmin had with Byrd to the time her body was found in the Mississippi River?


Byrd made a plea for his son's safe return. "I really do want to make sure that I'm able to get in contact with my son cause he needs to be with his father now that his mother is out of the way....I do believe that some foul play involved...I don't know what type, but someone came and picked them up...I'm not sure what happened that's all I know." Byrd, reportedly, told reporters. What gets me is "now that his mother is out of the way." He certainly has his own way of wording things, now doesn't he?


Yasmin's family believes that Byrd is involved with Gebar's disappearance. Byrd has taken and passed three polygraphs, but polygraphs aren't foolproof. It goes by vitals. Keep your vitals under control and it's easy to pass.


Gebar is now two years old. He's Black and Hispanic. He has black hair and brown eyes, he's 2'3 and 26 lbs.
